Photo Highlights from Geneva Elementary

Fifth graders from Geneva Elementary School in Bellingham came to the North Cascades National Park in two groups from April 23rd to 27th.  Here are some wonderful photo highlights taken by Heather Stevenson.

Graduate student Sarah Bernstein orients students at the Big Map.

Geneva students wear their warrior stripes (made from charred wood) proudly on the Sourdough Creek Trail.

Taking a closer look in the microscope lab.

Naturalist Josh Hordoff works with students during an evening Ranger Program as they learn about animal skulls.

A nice place for a "sit spot" in the mossy woods around the Environmental Learning Center.

Exploring rocks with Ranger Carolyn at Sourdough Creek.

Thank you Geneva Elementary for a spectacular week in the North Cascades!
